Ingredients

  • Yellow or green Moong dal – 1 cup
  • Green chilies – 2
  • Ginger – 2 inched peeled
  • Onion – 1 medium size (chopped)
  • Tomato – 1 medium size (chopped)
  • Coriander leaves – 8 – 9 leaves
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  • Carom seeds – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Carrot – small size (chopped)
  • Capsicum – medium size (chopped)
  • Oil – mustard oil or ghee
  • Water – half cup

Instructions

  1. Soak moong dal for 30 min.
  2. Prepare moong dal batter by blending moong dal with water, green chilli, ginger and cumin seeds.
  3. Prepare batter – mix all chopped veggies with some salt and carom seeds.
  4. Batter should be little thick and soft.
  5. Time to cook chilla – take non-sticky pan and put some oil on it and pour batter.
  6. Cook chilla from both sides.
  7. Serve it some coriander chutney and curd.
  8. 2- 3 chilla will be enough if you are losing weight.
