Weight Loss Recipes for Breakfast

Welcome to Natasha Mohan’s My Kitchen Diet Recipes. So the first step whole making this Healthy Moong Dal Chilla for weight Loss , we are going to add about 1 tsp of olive oil, you can use it regular olive oil, there is no need for virgin oil. I’m going to add about a teaspoon of cumin once it’s hot. Now cumin has a lot of medicinal properties especially when it comes to gas, bloating, acidic it is really beneficial, so don’t forget to add this ingredient. Once the cumin crackles we are going to add the chopped onion, chopped capsicum, chopped tomato, I’m using about 2-3 tablespoons of each, lightly in the pan. I am going to keep the veggies crunchy and make sure they keep that texture.

This is one of the best Weight loss recipes for breakfast , now this is going to be the filling of this moong dal chilla. so, let’s start with this recipe which  will take about one to two minutes on high flame and once the vegetable has cooked. I am going to add about one tablespoon 20 grams of chopped paneer into it. If you want you can even add Tofu into your chilla making it a  complete healthy  dish.

For the filling So after lightly roosted in the paneer I am adding about 1/2 teaspoon of coriander powder and adding  a pinch of salt, once that is done, I am going to switch off the gas and completely take it out into separate bowl for it to cool down.

  • Green Pea – 2-3TSP
  • Chopped Paneer – 20gm
  • Coriander powder- 1/2 TSP
  • Yellow Moong Dal
  • Green Chili- 2
  • Ginger – 1pcs
  • Saltpaper
  • Chopped Coriander

How to Make The Recipe:

  • Final Step in how to make moong dal chilla for weight loss which is also commonly known as Puda all over India. And yes you can also call it gram flour pancakes in English. So today we are making moong dal chilla before prepare the batter we need to soaked the dal the night before or at least 2-3 hours. I am using Split & skinned green gram which is commonly known as yellow moong dal or the yellow lentils in English.
  • And as you can see each strain is soft enough to break even with the tip of a finger. I am adding two whole green chilies and about an inch piece of ginger. I am going to blend it well in the grinder and till it becomes a smooth paste as you can see in the video.
  • The paste should be of watery consistency and then I am just going to add some spices to the dish adds some oil on the pan and put the batter spread it around and wow its done. Yes This is a prefect weight loss breakfast recipe for you.
